The Man Who Never Dies

Dick Cheney has had four heart attacks and won't stop breathing. I mean is four even a lot? I mean I just thought one could take you out bickity bam. This fool is the devil incarnate. Our "Uncle Tom" (Colin Powell) is out. Now our "Aunt Tomasina" (Condoleeza Rice) is in. Yes! I love black people who don't give a fuck about black people. That's why Bill Cosby is my hero. He wants us to shape up. He's sick and tired of our lackadaisical attitudes toward education and bettering ourselves. When is Bill Cosby running for President? Maybe then you'll see my ass at the polls.

Do what makes you happy

You gotta do what makes you happy. Struggling financially is fun and stressful and it keeps you on your toes. I dont want to be comfortable yet. I feel like if I get comfortable my life will be so boring. Going through things with the people you love supporting you makes it that much easier. Getting things off your chest. Doing what makes you happy. Finding your niche. Not knowing the outcome of things. Working to control the outcome of things. The random unexpected events. "Curveballs." Weather makes me happy. Is there a better chance that I will do the necessary work because i'm interested in the subject matter? Probably. Do what makes you happy, not what makes you money. What makes you happy?

New Place New York

So if you remember I said how I was moving out of my current residence ASAP. Do you remember? That's why I don't call you. Anyway, I have now found an apartment and I have the keys. So I now live in Long Island City which is in the county of Queens. Nice area. Close to four trains (and when I say close I mean I can see the stops from window). The B61 to Red Hook is on the corner, so I can take that to Williamsburg when we practice. Place is sweet. They have done a lot like: new kitchen, new appliances, new hardwood floor, dome lights with a dimmer, new dual pane windows, and a SKYLIGHT!!! THAT OPENS!!! So we're stoked (Monique and I). New place in New York. They said it was hard to find places in New York. I have two sets of keys right now. More on how sweet I am later. p.s.-I ENDED UP GOING TO THE MENOMENA SHOW!!! It was awesome. I got Danny's autograph and everything. Like it was so unreal, they were like so good. Like, oh my gosh, I totally love them.

cold cold nights

So if the temperature slowly starting to decline and the northeast winds picking up and howling in our ears as a "breeze" isnt enough, we also had a mugging in the courtyard of the building we live in. It wasn't a mugging as much as it was a violent attack against two men. Six guys attacked and "mangled" two guys from the Opera House apartment complex. That was the final straw, if you will, in our safety being compromised here in the neighborhood and in particular this building. The neighborhood is pretty bad. I will admit that. BUT I don't think that is why we are getting attacked/robbed. The main and most apparent reason is that "they" don't want us here infiltrating their "hood" and turning it into what Williamsburg has now become. Well that's understandable, although not really, but I for one am not going to be part of the folks who feel "its bound to happen, we just have to live it out. It's Brooklyn, it's heavy out here." I'm moving my ass to higher ground. In this case that's Williamsburg or Manhattan. Syracuse is slated to get some rain/snow THIS Friday. That's crazy it's starts so early. For those of you who are not aware, as Paul is, my cousin who is also named Freddie resides there. He is a southern California native and this is his first winter. To him I say "God speed, God speed indeed you black emperor."
